P&K Custom Acrylics was established in October, 1994 by Paul Wenzel and originally got its name from children Paul and Kristine. In May of 1995, a decision was made to go forth in the biotech research and development market. At the time, it was decided to incorporate "scientific" into the name. Not impressed with P&K Scientific, the name was changed to "TEK Scientific"... for technical scientific. The business was then incorporated in 1996 as a division of P&K Custom Acrylics, Inc.

Since our foundation, we have enjoyed significant growth and industry recognition in the highly competitive biotech research and development marketplace, also in the manufacturing of acrylic products. Our President Paul Wenzel has more than a decade of experience in biotech research products, as he was also the former production manager for Owl Scientific, Inc.

Tek Scientific manufactures to our customers needs and specifications. We then tailor our service to meet those needs and exceed those expectations. It is our mission. We pledge to make this an ongoing process because we realize that researchers needs and expectations change as their need for research and development changes.
